Summer Intensive Workshops In Sydney!

The toughest part of the dancers year is often the first few months back after the summer break, and in many ways it is the most important. We all know if you get off on the right foot (pardon the pun) then you will have a successful year. There are definitely right
and wrong ways to prepare for the challenges of a new year and planning it now will help you get it right in January!

So how do I recommend you start the year off?

Well with me of course! :)

Every year I see students struggle to get a good start to the year or totally blow the beginning of the year by over training and over performing at various summer schools and spend the rest of the first term trying to get back to full speed.

I have heard requests from many of you for a solution and so this year instead of going away on holidays I am staying back and running a week of special classes just for you. I unfortunately can’t fit everyone in as the space isn’t large enough and there are only so many hours in the day! However, I will be running classes covering 8 different topics over the week to provide something for everyone. Each class will run for 2 hours and you get a fully printed manual included with your attendance.

Check out the Summer Intensive timetable by going to http://www.perfectformphysio.com/classes

I am running these classes personally and there are only 10 spaces per class. I won’t let the classes get any larger than this because I want to be able to give my personal attention to each and every one of you. I know those of you that attend these classes will certainly have an unfair advantage over those that don’t and you will be in great shape to make this your best year in dance ever! There will be other schools running other classes through the summer and while most of these schools running  mazing classes and have the highest standards I feel that the way many of the girls try to perform during these classes (after a few weeks off) causes most of the overtraining and injury I see in my practice over the months of January and February.

While I don’t want you to avoid these classes, my advice is to keep it real, take it gently in the first week back, and plan time to
recover and recuperate over the summer with healthy spurts of activity that keep you enjoying the beautiful art of dance.

So go on over to http://www.perfectformphysio.com/classes to check out the timetable or call us at the clinic on (02) 99227721 to secure your spot!

I really look forward to seeing you in January and to helping you take your body beyond where you ever imagined it could go!

It’s going to be fun (It better be… this is my holiday to… he he he!) so come and join me!

See you soon!
