Kristen’s journey in dance began at age 5. Over the next 10 years, she completed exams in both RAD and Cecchetti, being awarded top marks in each method. She received a scholarship at age 8 to dance with the Edmonton School of Ballet. Kristen also performed many lead roles, as well as supporting roles, in original ballet productions. As a teenager, she had the opportunity to study under Nina Pavlova in Minsk, Belarus. Kristen has a strong desire to empower others through movement. Returning to dance as an adult has only deepened her passion for it and she is committed to encouraging people of all ages to move their bodies in ways they love.
