The Perfect Pointe Book

Who it is for:

This is the original program designed for pre-pointe students to work through, either independently or with their classmates & teacher.  Ideal for young dance students or adult beginners wanting to accelerate their progress. 

What it includes:

The Perfect Pointe Book is split into 4 stages, with tests and exercises to help develop strength, control and awareness of: Foot and Ankle Flexibility, Intrinsic foot muscle and Calf Strength, Turnout Range and Control, Core Stability and Balance. The online version includes a downloadable ebook and videos of all the tests and exercises. Also available as a hard copy book. 

The Perfect Pointe System

Who it is for:

This is the best option for teachers, studio owners and health professionals wanting to dive deeper into the entire pre-pointe process.

What it includes:

This course covers the entire pre-pointe process, from pre-pointe preparation, the pre-pointe assessment, and also leads into the preparatory exercises and Stage One of the My Beginner Pointe Program. The course includes numerous downloadable resources, including a full manual, workbook and assessment sheets, as well as over 100 videos demonstrating every test and exercise. 

My Pre-Pointe Assessment Workbook

Who it is for:

This is a new interactive workbook designed for pre-pointe students work through the pre-pointe assessment process with their teacher.

What it includes:

The workbook follows the process of incremental assessments (conducted by their teacher, health professional or parent, familiar with the assessment process) with spaces to note their results, recommended exercises for each stage. This allows more targeted progress and faster results, due to the personalization of the process. Includes a visual checklist to allow insight into the dancers progression of pointe readiness.

The My Beginner Pointe Program

Who it is for:

This is designed for when a student has been cleared for pointe work (via the pre-pointe assessment) and is ideal for teachers running beginner pointe classes, or for dance students wanting to work at home for additional pointe training.

What it includes:

Designed in association with Principal Artiste Vicki Attard, this program is designed to bridge the gap between pre-pointe preparation and pointe work in class.  This program has four distinct levels of training, progressing from very basic preparatory exercises, through to complex and challenging work in the center. Available in a fully online option, a hard copy book, or the original 3 DVD and Audio CD set. 

Other Foot & Ankle Programs

This specific focus program looks at the many factors that may inhibit a dancers pointe range. It looks at how to carefully assess the barriers to Pointe range and safe ways of improving it. This is ideal for the dancer who has always struggled with achieving enough range to be safely placed en pointe. This is available as an ebook and  online video program, or a hard copy book via Amazon.

This program is more advanced foot and ankle strengthening for the student who has mastered all of the exercises in The Perfect Pointe Book. It teaches the anatomy of the dancer's foot in the depth that they need to understand, and has specific mobilisation techniques, massage techniques and exercises for each specific area. This extensive course is perfect for Heath Practitioners who work with dancers, as well as high level dance teachers who are familiar with our Level 1 & 2 courses. It offers an in-depth exploration of the dancers foot, as well as the influences of hip stability and functional core control on foot dynamics and injury.
