Bio

I have been teaching ballet for the center for Dance Arts since 1999, as well as substitute teaching at Gustavus Adolphus college, Mankato State College and local dance studios. I have been a member of Real Women Dancing, a modern dance company in Nacogdoches, Tx and a member of Continental Ballet Company in Bloomington, MN. In addition to taking Lisa's wokshop, I have attended ballet teacher workshops in Vail, CO and the Dance Educators coalition in Golden Valley, MN.

My beginning pointe classes use ALL the ankle stretch/strengthener exercises from the Perfect Pointe book. The intermediate classes use the rotator exercises to find our best turn out as well as the psoas stretches.
