Bio

Maryam trained at Central School of Ballet London. After graduating she performed professionally all over the world, working with choreographers Christopher Gable, Matthew Bourne, Will Tuckett & Mark Morris to name a few. She has been teaching in Devon since 2008, working alongside her mother Linda at Hartley House Dance Club. Maryam is also the core Classical Ballet teacher for the Southwest’s Centre of Advances Training. This is a government funded scheme for Pre-Vocational dancers. In 2017 Maryam was awarded Dance Today’s ‘Dance Teacher of the Year’, for her work in the community.
