Bio

Natalka Lewis (MA, BA, ADCC-CICB) is a dance artist, educator, and choreographer based out of Calgary, AB. Natalka has an extensive background in ballet and contemporary dance; she has studied in depth the Cecchetti method and trained in RAD, ISTD & Vaganova ballet, as well as modern dance techniques, jazz, lyrical, and more. She received her BA in Contemporary Dance & Ballet at the University of Calgary while simultaneously training in the School of Alberta Ballet’s professional division. She holds her Associate Diploma teaching qualifications granted by Cecchetti Canada, has studied the Maestro Cecchetti Diploma work and is now working towards her Licentiate qualifications. Natalka has over 16 years of experience teaching dance. She has a wealth of knowledge & training and continues to seek professional development as an artist and educator. Currently, Natalka is the Ballet Director at Evolutions School of Dance. She is also a faculty member at the Alberta Ballet School where she teaches ballet, modern and heads the Open Division Performance Group. Natalka serves as a volunteer on the Alberta committee for Cecchetti Canada.
