Bio

Founder, owner and principal physiotherapist at Tempo Physiotherapy, a clinic dedicated to dance medicine, located on the Sunshine Coast in Australia. Passion for creating a safety net for dancers and dance teachers is what drives Weronika. She empowers dancers and teachers in understanding of their own body to enable smart way of using its best potential. In her work with dancers Weronika provides a "road map" with pointers and indicators to help them reach their desired goal. She advocates seeing dancers as bio-psycho-social beings and uses a whole body concept in working with them. Weronika graduated with Master's Degree in Poland in 2005 with thesis in lower limb injuries in dance. She joined IADMS in 2009 and continuously up-skills in the area of physiotherapy in general and in dance medicine through various professional courses, literature and online teaching.
