Our Dance Conditioning Two program is a carefully selected collection of exercises and mobilisation techniques for intermediate and advanced dancers, who already have some basic dance conditioning experience. It is designed to teach you all about how to use all of the correct muscles in class and build your own, constantly evolving conditioning program. This is essential to master to ensure maximum gains in technique while preventing pain and injury.
Whether you have done Pilates before or not, this program will teach you how to work your core, turnout muscles, upper back and foot muscles to give you more profound results in all areas of your dancing. The main focus of these classes is to get you to understand your body like never before and learn how to dance more efficiently! While some activation and isolation exercises are explored on the mat, the end result is to be able to integrate all that you learn in class into your class work. If you can keep awareness on the principles that we talk about in class during the week, you will notice a rapid improvement from week to week.
