COURSE OVERVIEW:

This course is perfect for teachers who are looking to incorporate the right preparatory exercises into their tiny dancer classes to help them develop correctly and avoid injury in their hips.

In conjunction with early childhood Master Teacher Beverly Spell, Lisa delves into the delicate art of training turnout in tiny dancers, exploring safe ways to develop both range and control in young hips, preparing them for higher level work in the future, while having fun with creative play in the classroom. All good learning is laid down in layers, so we explore what concepts need to be introduced at what ages and how to practice this in class.

Please note that this course is a stand-alone course and does not require you to take the Level One workshop prior to attending.

This workshop has been converted into an online interactive workshop. To help replicate the in-depth learning of the in-person workshops, we have divided this workshop into four sessions, over the course of a four-week period, to allow optimal understanding of all of the content via an online virtual workshop. The course fee includes unlimited access to the Members’ Area which includes exercise videos and numerous additional resources.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

16 HOURS OF TEACHING SPREAD OVER 6 WEEKS: Four live Zoom workshops with both Lisa Howell & Beverly Spell. To replicate the in-depth learning and personal connection of the in-person course, the content will be delivered via a combination of practical and theoretical components.
MATERIALS PROVIDED: All participants receive access to a detailed course manual which includes both the theoretical components and practical exercises discussed in the course.
PERSONALISED ATTENTION: These calls will be limited to just 24 individuals so that you will have plenty of time to ask questions.
UNLIMITED ACCESS TO THE ONLINE MEMBERS’ AREA: During the workshop will you be given lifetime access to the Training Turnout in Tiny Dancers Members’ Area, which includes over 100 pre-recorded videos.
A COMPREHENSIVE SET OF ADDITIONAL RESOURCES: The Members’ Area also houses an extensive library of additional resources, including assessment sheets, exercise sheets and student workbooks to help integrate this program effortlessly into your clinic or studio.
CEC ACCREDITATION: After the workshop, you will be emailed the CEC Accreditation Application Form, which is designed as an overview of the online course in order for you to appropriately claim CEC credits with your governing body for 16 contact hours of continued education.
ACCESS TO THE RECORDINGS OF THE ONLINE WORKSHOP: After the workshop you will be given access to the recordings of the live Zoom sessions, giving you the opportunity to go over any particular part of the course in your own time.
